My good friend Jade just sent me this article!
It says in one week or less! Hmmmm, not so sure about that, but I'll give anything a whirl!
Thanks Jade x

My 'Green Thumb' update........
Further to my post the other week relating to the state of Viola the plant, I thought it was best to introduce a second plant into the mix! The list item stated 'Keep a plant alive' - it didn't mention anything about how many I can start with!
As Viola is not on a quick road to recovery, I figured now was a good time to introduce plant No. 2! This is my lucky bamboo plant which I have had for about 6 months. It has come close to the end a few times now, so if I can keep this one kicking till May, I'd say goal has been achieved!
Meet Bam Bam,

23. No watching TV for a week
TICK!................and it actually wasn't that hard!
Time flew! I thought I would struggle a lot more but it turns out I actually had a lot to keep me entertained. Here are some of the highlights and achievements from my week telly free:
1. Cleaned out both our food pantry and fridge (starting with the real fun stuff!) - see, sparkly clean again!
2. Actually spent time catching up with friends that I've been meaning to get back to for some time, whether by phone, email or in person.
3. Played supportive partner and watched Mule play indoor soccer........and they won in the last minute - action packed!
4. Started reading my new book -

4. Started reading my new book -
5. Managed to get my 8 hours beauty sleep most nights - and must say, had fantastic uninterrupted sleep - wonder if this has anything to do with my mind being not so active at bed time??
6. Undertook a LARGE amount of research for this year's Euro trip! Switzerland and Venice are now sorted!!
7. Followed the Patriots V Broncos game via twitter rather than TV. GO PATS!
8. Last but certainly not least (this is my favourite achievement!) I finally started to clean out my closet. Number of reasons for this, the main being the fact that there is no room in the big double wardrobe for Mule's things. Here's what I managed to get rid of so far:
But that's not the best part! What, there's more?? Well, I was telling people at work about my clean out plans and was convinced to bring my items in and have a little second hand store.
BEST IDEA EVER! This little Saint made quite the profit and was equally delighted that my much loved items went to friends! Enjoy ladies x
So there you have it, another item on the list bites the dust..................
Sunday 15th January - Today is the 40 day mark in my 'take a photo every day' challenge! Fingers crossed I can continue to remember to take a picture each day!! This is a pic mid 'travel planning'!
Saturday 14th January - Meet Charlie! He is my God-doggy. Yes, I am god parent to a dog. Don't judge me..........
Friday 13th January - ohhhhhhhhhhh black Friday, and a completely unrelated photo of the day! I hunted around everywhere for one of these bad boys last Easter with no success! Wasn't going to miss out this year, even if it is only January! Thanks for the heads up MAG

Uh ohhhhh Spaghetti-O
This was Viola when we returned from the Christmas break................oh no!! Trying my best to bring her back to life, will report back!
Tuesday 10th January - Just call me Yogi Bear as I have nabbed myself a Pic-a-nic basket! May or may not have been from a curb-side pick up on a walk last night..........awkward! Will have to use this little beauty when completing #20. Go on a Midnight picnic. Then I'm thinking i will use my new found treasure to store something, maybe CD's / DVD's..............

TV Blackout!
Idiot box, receiver, small screen, telly, tube, TV!! It's crazy how much time we do actually spend in front of these crazy little creatures! I'm actually not a huge watcher of actual TV, but I do spend a lot of time in front of the old tube watching DVDs (both movies and TV series).
So I'm putting it out there - this is the week I will attempt to go TV free! Turn that box off, its time to get in touch with TVs less popular friends - like books! For 168 hours there will be no 'Kelly at the Telly'!
The aim is to not watch any TV, including DVDs, movies, or even sneaky viewings on the gym treadmills for the next 7 days! I'm 12 hours in, so far so good..................................
See you Monday 16th January old friend!

21. Eat a Big Mac
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun .........
Well, well, well..............this item on the list has probably received the most comments! 'Woahhhhh - you've never eaten a Big Mac??' - CRAZY! Crazy indeed, in fact, I had never eaten a McDonald's burger full stop (I'm a nuggs girl from way back). With many suggestions of which burger is best and what I should chose, I thought it was best to go with the most iconic!
As I stood in the very long line up at South Nowra Maccas, the very very large Big Mac image stared down at me from the menu board screaming 'look how big I am, you are in trouble little one'!

I was quite relieved when this was the size of what I actually got!
And here we go................
unsure........
Almost there.........
Annnnnnd, I didn't finish it. First bites in and I was thinking 'this isn't so bad' and 'it goes alright', but ended a few bites from the end with 'blahhhh, no more thanks'!
So I've done it! I've eaten my Big Mac TICK! However, I don't think I will be converting any time soon - who could give up these little guys (which I may have bought as a 'chaser' to my Big Mac)
On the road again........
24. Visit a town I've never been to............................
This one gets a DOUBLE TICK as I ended up visiting 2 new towns in one day! One country, one coastal - variety is the spice of life!
Whist camping with my family over the Christmas break, we decided to take a little day trip to knock this one off the list. After much map searching, we decided that Cambewarra would be our town of choice.
Dad, Mum, myself and family friends (UP, AN and J) piled into car's and set off on our little adventure! Cambewarra was about 30 - 40 mins from where we were staying at Currarong on the NSW south coast. It had a very cute country vibe to it (evident by the cows on the way in) and some fabulous little cottage type houses and buildings. We then went up Cambewarra mountain to take in some awesome views and token scones (that's what one does in the country, right?!) - Here are some of my fav pics -
Well this great day out only got better! On our way back, we realised that I had never been to Greenwell Point - a small coastal village about 15 - 20 mins from where my family has camped for the past 18 years!! So with a little detour on our way back, I found it - my fav new destination! LOVE LOVE LOVED it!! This town had all the ticks (well, all of my 'perfect holiday destination ticks'):

1) boats
2) pelicans
3) a pool (cute little public pool with a very 'summer in America circa 1970's vibe'!!)
4) multiple Fish and Chip shops
5) Small town coastal vibe
